Looking for a Writer's Conference?

One month remains before I leave for my favorite writer's conference. Well, to be honest, it's the only writer's conference I've ever attended, but I love it. I have gone the last two years and have met many wonderful writers, authors, editors and agents. I can hardly wait to leave.
I am busily brushing up my credit sheet, dusting off articles I've written the past year, polishing up my novel synopsis and the first 12 pages for critique, and basically running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I have twelve months to prepare for the conference, but I tend to need the pressure of a deadline looming to really set the wheels in motion. I so love the rush!
For me, the writer's conference acts as a catalyst to keep things moving. I know I will make new contacts, but I will also have to give an account (to my husband, to my writing friends, and to the professionals who sacrifice their time for the conference) of what I've accomplished in the last twelve months. Accountablility is a good thing. I want to encourage you to attend the Colorado Christian Writer's Conference if:
  • You've written some articles, but haven't been able to get them published.
  • You've written a novel, but are unsure how to proceed to the next step in publication.
  • You have a local speaking ministry, and you want to know to how to go further.
  • You've got a great non-fiction idea, but don't know how to put a book together.
  • You're simply at a crossroads in life, and you want to explore new opportunities.
  • You really don't know what to do with that extra $1000 sitting in your underwear drawer:)

The Colorado Christian Writer's Conference offers quality workshops, one-on-one appointments with authors, agents, and editors, encouragment throughout the conference, and a wonderful time of fellowship with other Christians.

If you have been asking yourself what the next step should be in your writing ministry? Take a moment to prayerfully consider attending the Colorado Christian Writer's Conference.

Just another Thought from the Tub,

Lori
